CHINA PETROCHEMICAL ANALYST - to be based in Beijing, China
  • The incumbent will be based in Beijing and work under direct supervision of the Senior Marketing Director of China. After fully trained and able to work independently, he / she may be re-located to Shanghai, the center of China's petrochemical spot market.
  • Responsible for developing and utilizing contacts in China's petrochemical industry.
  • Build relationship with local petrochemical traders, producers and other key players.
  • Collect statistical information (eg inventory levels) not available from outside China.
  • Support and contribute to China-related petrochemical news coverage.
  • Produce selected daily domestic Chinese petrochemical price assessments.
  • Recommend improvements in local methodology.
  • Liaise with staff in other Asian offices.
  • Produce accurate and insightful commentary on China's petrochemical sector and how it relates to the international markets.

  • The incumbent will report to the HR Director in the US and provide broad HR support to the business operations in Beijing, China.
  • Responsible for providing guidance and counsel to all levels of the organization, including but not limited to:
    1. Coaching leadership on implementing programs to promote employee engagement and positive employee relations.
    2. Leading projects and initiatives within and outside the Human Resources function, in a multi-site, international company.
